Resource for busy educators & parents interested in replacing worksheets with opportunities to learn with real, meaningful activities...

Involve me and I learn

As an educator of young children, you know that there's only so much little kids can learn by listening and watching. They need to figure stuff out for themselves and have opportunities to talk and ask questions. They need to interact with others and have sensory experiences and have time to wonder. They need to solve problems and wiggle and play.

One key to successfully teaching children is to present topics in ways that are mindful of their natural inquisitiveness. A curriculum that offers children opportunities throughout the day to develop, demonstrate and apply understanding through playing, inquiry and problem solving is best.

Children learn as they investigate and test real things, as they attempt a variety of ways of solving problems that are meaningful to their lives.

My goal is to provide you with hands on activities that give children some control over the direction of their learning, that allow them to touch, to move around, to listen to each other and to learn ways of observing and recording their experiences.

If you're feeling overloaded by the work involved in teaching this way, as well as all the other demands of being an educator, if you're looking for help to teach more effortlessly, you've come to the right place. I provide tips, resources and products that help you not only feel more confident but also make teaching uncomplicated and achievable.

If you want to offer a more exciting learning environment, enjoy your students more, and be able to walk out the door a little earlier after school, hop on board, check out my site and subscribe to Kindergarten-Lesson News to receive updates and free resources.
